Hi Eileen, the key to your post is everyone reacts differently. Focus on your journey.
this coming from someone who is coming up to my 3rd AC and I too was anxious. In my journey my anxiety didn't affect my chemo session but did affect my first 24 hrs post chemo as I had read others stories and was sure I would react the same therefore causing me to have high anxiety. My reaction was much much less than I had anticipated in my own head.
I hope all went smoothly and don't be shy in asking your nurses to move chairs, more meds, closer to the toilet, whatever you think my help, I have found my nurses to be so accomodating and they will try to help with whatever they can.
remember to breathe, rest and water.
