I understand how you're feeling, I felt the exact same before my first AC session in October last year. I was soo nervous that I was in tears when the nurse put my cannula in! I've finished my chemo now & am currently half way through radiotherapy. The last 6 months have gone by much quicker than I'd anticipated. I hope your journey goes quickly too.
My side effects weren't too bad. Make sure you take the post chemo medication as advised and report any side effects to the nurses/Oncologist as they can always help to minimise them. I got a lot of indigestion/burning in my throat for about a week after chemo & the oncologist gave me a script for tablets which helped that.
