1st one down - chemotherapy

Had my 1st chemo AC and the past week have been feeling great. First days 2-6 were bad. Brain was so foggy couldn't concentrate on anything. So very tired but never got sick so that ...
I found losing my hair was a little distressing, but once I shaved the remains off, I enjoyed the freedom of not having any! I liked the 'skin head' sensation and it was great not having to worry about hair products and styling! I admit though that I reached for my hair brush several times in the first couple of months only to suddenly remember I didn't have anything to brush :-)
I started chemo on 16 May this year and started to lose hair 13 days later. It has started to grow back to the point where I can see it just about a week ago and I still have one chemo to go. Good luck with your treatment and all the best. Cheers Anne xo
