Yes I had bad nausea and a bad reaction to maxalon after my first cycle of FEC. I know take Ativan at night for about a week and one dexamethasone in the morning for a week. Helps a lot. They are strong and effective. Ask your oncologist for strong effective medication. Maxalon is not very strong. You can't take the Ativan or dexamethasone all t he time, the Ativan is addictive. But it helps a lot. Best of luck. First chemo seems often to be the worst,
