Hi all,
I've read a few of you mentioning acupuncture as a great natural approach to helping with menopausal symptoms and so I was wondering if people could share more with me? If anyone has recommendations for finding one that is trained to help that would be great too. I love Melbourne eastern suburbs if anyone has used one out here I'd love to hear about it

Hi @melways
Great question and while we wait for other members to respond, here is the information we have in relation to complementary therapies (such as acupuncture):Complementary therapies (My Journey)
You can also check out our service finder – look under complementary therapies to see what is around Melbourne:

Hi @melways, I have acupuncture regularly to help with various things, immune support, stress, aches and pains. I have not had acupuncture for menopause but one of my relatives did and said it helped a bit. You could give it a go and see what you think. Some GPs also do acupuncture. Just get one who has a good reputation.0

Hi @melways
My oncologist suggested acupuncture for my menopausal symptoms from my hormone therapy. I haven't tried it myself (I'm needle phobic! ) but she said some of her patients get good results from it!
