Tamoxifen and weight gain

Has anyone taking tamoxifen managed to not put on weight? I’m having trouble and only read stories about people who struggle with it too?  I presume some people don’t get that side effect maybe,I worry the extra weight I’m carrying increases risk of reoccurrence any,
has anyone tried 10 mg instead of 20 mg and has it made any difference?

    I actually went the other way.  Lost a few kgs once I started I think due to loss of appetite and nausea. I have acupuncture regularly to help with got flushes.  Not sure if it will help with your symptoms.

    Just out of curiosity how long have you been on tamoxifen, so you lost a couple at start and then just never put much on?I only ask as mine has gradually gone up over time,nice to hear that you didn’t have weight gain problems,I might try acupuncture for some symptoms too,thanks

    @Milly21 I've been on Tamoxifen since August 23. I lost a couple of kgs at the start.  I had to go off them for 3 weeks this January and when I went back on them last another 2kgs. I seem to have plateaued now.  Yes I definitely recommend acupuncture.
