Hello to all, since having mastectomy my other shoulder, holding my one boob is hurting. Any suggestions welcomed.

Maybe you are favouring that arm/shoulder by lying on that side in bed ?You may be doing everything with that ‘good’arm too. What about putting a heat pack on it?Once the drain comes out you’ll find you are using both arms evenly.Early days2

My BC Nurse called, who suggested I wear a bra, which is impossible at the moment due to wound site. Nurse hasn't arrived. I've taken panadol. Any stretching exercises?0

I had a supportive stretchy binder around my chest for the first 2 weeks. I did gentle arm exercises but didn’t really get serious until after the drain came out. I got my husband to give me a gentle shoulder massage, that helped. I don’t know what week you are up to but go easy as you are still healing with internal stitches.0
