Thanks for the warm welcome. Although a new member here I'm not new to this world and was diagnosed in 1989. Underwent a partial mastectomy and radiotherapy (I might add then as there was no access to radiotherapy at either of my local hospitals ie Campbelltown or Liverpool I had to travel to Westmead for treatment) and then in 2008 a breast implant. Unfortunately now though I have capsular contracture and I'm waiting admission to the public hospital system to have it removed and a reduction on the other-side. So that in a nutshell is my journey with breast cancer. Unfortunately now amongst other things I have to contend with neuroborreliosis as in 1984 I was bit by a tick.2
