edited April 2018 in Metastatic breast cancer
Just wanted to let everyone know in the metastatic world, another beautiful lady received her angel wings on April 8th - Kim was diagnosed in 2010 with mets and I got to know her through the NSW Telephone Support Group for Women with MBC, she also wrote a lovely piece for the Inside Story , Winter of 2017 - Filling Up My Happiness Cup,
I will miss you my friend, so pleased that we were able to meet 4 years ago and share our stories,
Kim was 55 years young.

I don't want to be yet another who views this post and retreats without responding; the wretched thing is that I have nothing constructive to say except that I'm sorry you lost your friend. This is a mongrel disease. Marg xxx

My condolences Wendy. So very hard. It hits us all in the gut reading something like this, but for you to lose a friend is brutal. Look after yourself. K xox

It's hard to see someone die too soon, but also inspiring how they lived in spite of their diagnosis. Vale Polixeni Papapetrou, a gifted and courageous Melbourne artist who died yesterday. She was 57.
