Just wanted to let everyone know in the metastatic world, another beautiful lady received her angel wings on April 8th - Kim was diagnosed in 2010 with mets and I got to know her through the NSW Telephone Support Group for Women with MBC, she also wrote a lovely piece for the Inside Story , Winter of 2017 - Filling Up My Happiness Cup,
I will miss you my friend, so pleased that we were able to meet 4 years ago and share our stories,
Kim was 55 years young.

I don't want to be yet another who views this post and retreats without responding; the wretched thing is that I have nothing constructive to say except that I'm sorry you lost your friend. This is a mongrel disease. Marg xxx2

My condolences Wendy. So very hard. It hits us all in the gut reading something like this, but for you to lose a friend is brutal. Look after yourself. K xox1

So sorry to hear about the loss of your friend Kim. The friendships we make and the stories we share are one shining light in this whole ordeal, and it sounds as though you shared a special connection that will never be dimmed. Hugs, Jane xx0

It's hard to see someone die too soon, but also inspiring how they lived in spite of their diagnosis. Vale Polixeni Papapetrou, a gifted and courageous Melbourne artist who died yesterday. She was 57.1
