Hi everyone, it's been a little while since we have shared with you what's been happening in the community and within BCNA.

We have a whole bunch of new members. Please give a warm welcome to @TripleTea, @TracyH, @fluffymittens, @Muriel, @annielou52, @JayLee, @future1979, @shorelle, @piper79, @nat79, @Wigsy, @tasneem, @annetted, @volunty and all our new members.

New members, add your birthday to the birthday thread here.

We've had a number of members unlocking online network milestones -
reaching anniversaries and earning badges for likes and comments. Be
sure to check them out in the Activity feed and congratulate them.

Community highlights

Every week we have so much variety in the posts being shared on the online network.  These can include questions about treatments, updates on how things are going, and celebrating milestones. Here are some good conversations you might have missed:

This FREE challenge is about focusing on improving your health and wellbeing and experiencing the value of team support and a little healthy competition. Teams of four will record their daily step count online. Each individual’s step count will contribute to the team’s aim to ‘virtually’ walk the El Camino de Santiago, following in the steps of pilgrims, modern day explorers and BCNA’s Inspired Adventurers.

This year BCNA has invited members from Queensland and Victoria who are 9–24 months post diagnosis, as well as BCNA’s community champions and support groups from around the country. If you too would like to take part in the challenge please register here

What's coming...

This October as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, restaurants and cafés across Australia will be supporting our Dine Pink campaign and offering special menu items, drinks, a dedicated Dine Pink table or event and donating proceeds from these items to BCNA.

The Dine Pink campaign is the brain child of one of our very own members, Donna, who is a breast cancer survivor, food-lover and all-round superwoman. She appreciates the importance food and dining play as healing rituals in our lives. They bring people together in meaningful ways, often over a simple cup of coffee or warming bowl of pasta. If you have a favorite restaurant or cafe that you love going to with your family and friends jumped online now at Dine Pink to recommend a restaurant.

I think I got it all for you :)
Have a lovely weekend.
