Developing secondary breast cancer information resources for Greek and Chinese women
Do you know someone with secondary (advanced) breast cancer?
Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) plans to develop resources translated in Greek and Chinese for women and their families affected by secondary breast cancer. To ensure the information is relevant and culturally appropriate, BCNA is conducting focus groups with women and their family members and support people.
Who?
BCNA is looking for people affected by secondary breast cancer (i.e. whose breast cancer has spread to other parts of the body) either as a patient or family member to participate in our focus groups.
Why?
We want to learn from your experience to support Greek and Chinese people affected by secondary breast cancer in the future.
How?
The study involves attending a focus group (group discussion) for 1.5 hours at a local community support centre with either women with secondary breast cancer or family members.
When?
Late May/early June 2016
Where?
Melbourne and Sydney
