What's happening

Hi everyone,
I hope you dont think I'm mean doing things this way, I just thought this time around it would be easier for everyone to keep updated and then I can get back to everyone at a more natural pace. By this time around, I mean more surgery. I went to the hospital today for my check up and to get results and got the old good news bad news routine. Good news is no cancer in the lymph node, bad news ,cancer cells in what they hoped would be the clear tissue around the tumour. There is a 10 to15% chance of a third round , which would mean mastectomy, but he thinks another lumpectomy is worth a shot. I breezed through the first surgery, but he warned me today, it will be a lot tougher, more tissue taken and some pretty obvious disfigurement to come. Great. This probably means chemo as well as the radiotherapy , so I guess I'll be getting a few hats! If I do go the both treatments that will see us backwards and forwards to hospitals from now till Christmas. How depressing. I already feel exhausted and we havent even really started! Anyway, will get back to you all when I can. Thanks for listening and your support has been wonderful. Really. Thanks. Love Sara.
