Diagnosed in 2012. Mastectomy (left breast), chemotherapy (A/C and Taxol) and herceptin. Ten years of Femara (Letrozole) completed in April 2023, hooray! Long term side effects include an arrythmia (possibly accumulated impact, perfectly manageable), peripheral neuropathy (Taxol definitely, still have funny feet) and lymphoedema (17 lymph nodes went and manageable also). Worked full time throughout treatment, moved to a new job a year later (4 day week). At 74, started one year of long service leave, interrupted half way by COVID. Decided to retire, avoiding WFH and Zoom meetings! One partner, one daughter, two grandsons.Member
