8 years agoA big thank you to all of you for your support. Sometimes issues need to be brought to the forefront for those in power to take notice and make a change. My husband and I just paid our annual insurance cover, and with the recent price hike, we paid $6842 for the year.
Hopefully, making a statement, this will make people think during the ministerial review that was requested by Greg Hunt, the Federal Health minister. I've sent through to Mark Metherell the results of a small survey that I conducted with my local ladies cancer group. The results related to people in rural and remote areas. The impact of out of pocket costs for all those affected by cancer treatment, and it is further impacted by the tyranny of distance.
Cross your fingers for at least some intelligent conversations within government. Hoping for a change, Trace
