Travel insurances
I have been diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in the bone. Lesions in hips & neck of femur. Other lesions in the thorax but not necessarily breast cancer. My Oncologist has advised that it’s ok for me to travel nationally and internationally. Can anyone advise which Travel Inurance company has the most understanding method of assessing loading rates and exclusions.372Views0likes13CommentsTravel insurance

(New Zealand, Hong Kong and parts of Europe are on my list) Reciprocal and non-reciprocal countries please. I feel like not being able to get insurance is like being discriminated against. Thanks in advance...Overseas travel
Hi ladies, Just wondering if anyone has had any luck with getting travel insurance? I don't think we are eligible (what a burden we must be!!). I'm considering and hoping to plan a trip to Europe early next year for maybe a month, with my husband and little one year old girl. It's a bit tricky to plan and organise, as I see my oncologist every 6-8 weeks, and I feel like everything can fall apart at any of those appointments.... But everything is going really well for me at the moment! I'm "young" (38) and feel fit and healthy - always have actually. It's just the scans and doctors telling me I'm not. I was first diagnosed with brca in 2009, then metastatic nearly a year ago. I have been taking lynparza (an oral daily tablet) for nearly 3 months which so far is working (yay!) so I feel like this is my chance to do the trip. I know my health wouldn't suddenly deteriorate while over there - it would just be if 1) I had to cancel flights because my tumor marker suddenly went up, or of more concern 2) I managed to have a fall somehow and broke a bone (the first in my life!). Then I would have medical expenses that wouldn't be covered. But I'm thinking it's worth it without insurance anyway... :) Any thoughts or advice ladies?overseas travel
Hi everyone, Can anyone tell me which insurance company covers travelling to the UK with ABC with bones mets. I am still on Herceptin every three weeks but other than that i'm well and the bones bug is only in two spots and not grown for two years, so with that surely i shouldn't have any troubles getting insurance.
