✨ Are you ready to become a part of the heart and soul behind our wonderful online community supporting people through breast cancer? We’re inviting passionate community members to step into a Forum Facilitator role and become part of the heart and soul of our online network supporting people affected by breast cancer. As a Forum Facilitator, of the private groups with our network, you’ll help nurture safe, welcoming spaces within one or more community groups that are meaningful to you. Your voice, care, and lived experience can make a real difference to others on similar journeys. 🌸What does the role involve? • Sharing relevant, supportive content and moderating conversations • Welcoming new members and helping them feel at home • Collaborating with BCNA on helpful online community and website resources • Regular check-ins with our BCNA Community Managers You won’t be doing this alone. There is a full onboarding program, along with ongoing guidance and support every step of the way. This is a volunteer role designed to fit around you. You can contribute whatever time you are able to, in a way that feels sustainable and never becomes a burden. BCNA requires consent to make changes to your account via email, and depending on your change preferences, should include the following: 👉 Change your account details - email or username If you would like your Online Network account personal details to be changed, please include that as an instruction in your email. 👉Delete your account or remove certain content If you would like any of your Online Network content or information to be deleted, please include that as an instruction in your email. 👉Consent for your family to act on your behalf in memoriam. It is crucial to note that BCNA cannot act upon any of these requests unless we directly receive consent from you. In the event that someone makes a data-sensitive request to BCNA on your behalf, we ask that you email helpline@bcna.org.au or call 1800 500 258 giving consent to that family member or legal representative to request Online Network account changes. If we receive notification of your death from your delegated representative BCNA will update your Online Network profile to reflect ‘in- memoriam'.
