26 and freaking.
Hey ladies. About three years ago I found a lump in my right breast. Had an ultrasound and it came back as a fibroademona and no one was concerned. I’ve had it scanned yearly since and just last week got the okay to move to two yearly + scans. A few days ago I was in the bathroom and when drying my hair I noticed an indent in my other (right) breast but didn’t think much of it as I was wearing a pretty awful bra that day. Last night I was doing my monthly breast check and when I lift my arms above my head the indent is still there. It’s about 1.5cm above and slightly anterior to my nipple and only visible with arms up. I am freaking out. I have very severe anxiety and my meds aren’t even touching the edges with it today. I did the worst thing known to man and googled and while there are lots of varied lump stories (mine included) the ones starting with “I found an indent” seem to all end with C.
Paranoid or Not.
Hi Everyone, Just feel like a bit of a vent today. For the last couple of weeks have had sore shoulders. Thought I'd just over stretched. But pain killers weren't working. So off to the Dr I went. She suggested Physio which I had twice. Trouble is laying on my front for an hour did nothing for my Mastectomy site it feels like it's bruised now. Anyway long story short after 2 weeks it is just as bad so went back to the Dr this morning. She still feels it is Muscular but as it really hurts when I take a deep breath or cough she has decided to send me for a CT scan. Which to be honest is what I wanted. But now I am home and appointment made for Monday I am thinking that I am being Paranoid. Hope you are doing OK Jan xxxx
Non Cancer Lumps Found
Good evening everyone. Some of you would have read my post on Not Dignosised yet. Today I got the results from my Core Needle Biopsy. All is clear I have not had cancer before. I have a strong family history. Om my mums side my grandmother and 2 Aunts one of the Aunts had breast and Ovarian Cancer. On my dads side my grandmother and 2 Aunts also breast cancer. My dad also has non hodgkin lymphoma not sure if tgat makes a difference. I am heading to a specialist as soon as my GP makes an appointment probably within the next week. I with the support of my husband and my GP am going to ask for Preventative Mastectomy. My results today said fibrocystic non cancer lumps. Am I over thinking this? I am so anxious about getting breast cancer in the future. I am 50 and have alot of plans for the future. Sorry for all my posts but I am at a loss of what to think. Cheers.
