What to do to regain my strength and energy levels
I have finished my chemo, radiation and now on hormone tablets for nearly 60days. I just cannot seem to regain my energy levels and was wondering if I should be taking a supplement. I cannot do much before I am puffing and exhausted, I am doing more than when on chemo as that wiped me right out !! I am going to get blood tests to check, and I have not been doing any exercise so I am going to start a little walk every day and try to build it up. Any suggestions would be appreciated.611Views1like33CommentsKisqali/ Letrozel exhaustion
Round 3 and I’m just realising how tired I am. Before Xmas I could keep going up to 730pm when I needed a bit of a break but now it all seems so hard going back to work yesterday. My new year resolution is to be the best version of me so I dragged myself back to the Cancer Fit gym before work. I was shocked that my blood pressure before exercise was 80/55 normally 110/70. After a glass of water 95/65. Is that why I’m tired and should I let my doctor know? Of course I’m wide awake now in the middle of the night worrying about being so tired291Views0likes15Commentschemo dose 4
Hi This morning I go in for my 4th round of TC - hope they get the vein first go. thats always a good start. So happy this is the last one - just then have to ride out the side effects. I have a CT scan on thursday for my radiotherapy which is scheduled to start on the 8th July. Should be finished on 30 July. We have a weekend in sydney booked to celebrate - yay. Then I will start my tamoxifen after that. So looking forward to the end of the treatment and then trying to get my body back in shape. Hope everyone is going well. I was diagnosed with breast cancer early 2011 Lumpectomy followed by radiation and then Femara. I usually have low blood pressure but after few weeks taking Femara my blood pressure soared and it was advised by my oncologist to to stop taking it for a couple of months, blood pressure came back to normal. Has this happened to anyone else? Tamoxifin was suggested but after a little research and a family history of clots, strokes etc I decided to decline any treatment opting to cut out all sugar, losing weight, exercising every day and drinking green tea. I hope this keeps me well as I have a 10 year old to care for. Does anyone have any other ideas for lowering estrogen levels?2Views0likes2Comments
