I have read up on it and will be getting my mapping done this Friday if my PET shows I am a suitable candidate. Apparently it's been used in bowel cancer patients for a while but is still a relatively new procedure for BC patients.

Hi Mabel, I too am 42 with very young children. I have TNBC mets to bone, liver and ovaries. I know how you feel and also refuse to ever give up.

It doesn't bring me stress as I haven't posted anything personal or 'controversial ' what bothers me is the way I have seen others treated and I dont want to be a part of a culture that doesn't respect or support the differences of others.

Absolutely disgusted that even the most simple and even appropriate comments and support of others are being censored and removed by a particular moderator. So I too will be leaving the BCNA forum. To all my fellow BC fighters, survivors and my metastatic comrades. I wish you all the best with your fight. May you hang tough, get through this and feel cared for, heard and supported. God bless (whoops I mentioned God) this post will be removed.

Thanks to the pettiness of the moderators. I too will be leaving the BCNA forum. Seems swearing is ok. Mentioning God is not. Guess we are now being told how we can Express ourselves. So much for freedom of speech.

Always accept a drug trial if offered. People usually do better on trials as they are more closely monitored.
