I got my genetic testing result today - negative which is great news. I was thinking of having a double mastectomy anyway but after doing some research and reading the accounts of other triple negative women, i think i have changed my mind.

I am feeling really lethargic and lots of hot flushes but apart from that i am doing ok

I am now on docetaxel every 3 weeks. Luckily i only have to have it this week and then in 3wks and then chemo is finished

Yes my oncologist said the extent of my neuropathy was rare and has requested tests for an underlying condition. I can't remember tge name of the new drug but she said it was the same as paclitaxel but without neuropathy but possibly more nausea.

I am thinking it is a cyst but you never know. Just feeling a bit down at the moment because of the delay because now everything else is delayed

One thing after another!
I have neuropathy in my hands and feet pretty bad so oncologist has put chemo on hold for the last 2 weeks. I have been having paclitaxel fortnightly. Next week she is changing the drug and it will be weekly. Pretty bummed about that as i was due to finish chemo next week and now i won't finish until end of November. Also, my mum has found a lump in her breast and is due for a biopsy in 2 weeks. Not sure we could cope if we both had cancer at the same time...

Thanks Donna. I am near Kingaroy. I spoke briefly with my surgeon this week and have an appointment to speak to him in 2wks about my options. I am leaning towards mastectomy because i do not want to risk going through all this again

I just hate not having a plan. Work want to know when i can come back and i don't know. I have 2nd kast chemo tmrw so i will talk to breast care nurse and oncologist tmrw
