Re: Creative Corner!
Hello! I am new to the Creative Corner - howdy all! I have de novo metastatic breast cancer, and one of my ways of coping was to start stitching rude words!!! I made this pair specially for a friend going through chemo under lockdown in London earlier this year. A sentiment I am sure a lot of us would agree with! I post all my wicked words on my Instagram @madebyhands.me Enjoy!24Views10likes0CommentsRe: Ribociclib/Letrozole Combo - How long have you been on this plse?
Hi @christa still going strong - last scans all good. De novo with tumour at T11 which was pressing on my spinal nerve so it was removed and I had radiation - all ok. Still have pain which is managed with some good drugs... I feel the same as a lot of the ladies here - I am past the 2 year mark on the Ribociclib 600mg/letrozole/denusomab combination and wondering how long a can keep the nasties at bay for. Great to hear @Deebs is 33 months in and stable :)Re: Kisquali
darling @Glynnis I hear you - our contract got cancelled in the first week of this pandemic so all non essential spending has gone off our list. I have the last polish slowly growing off so I will see what state my natural nails are in a few weeks! I hope you are staying safe at home like all of us in our situation - I have been housebound for two weeks tomorrow after a final family get together in Thredbo thanks to the OTIS Foundation who I found out about thanks to this BCNA website. Then two days later lost my job. Crazy times ladies! I hope we can all stay positive and thank god for these groups so we are not alone. Big love to you all out there xxxRe: Can’t sleep all night, after chemo.
hi @Superzap so true otherwise you end up in a spiral of oh god I am not sleeping -panic now I am stressed about not sleeping - but I need to sleep to get well - oh god maybe that’s why I got sick and repeat 10,000 times!!! Oh yes, we’ve all been there haven’t we?!!! Ok - back to Grey’s Anatomy...... xxxx62Views0likes0Comments
