About BCNA's Online Network

Welcome to BCNA’s Online Network. The same network you know and love, but now even better and with a single login for our digital tools.

Online Network has been designed around your needs, based upon your feedback. The platform enhances your user experience, security and accessibility, while connecting you with other people affected by breast cancer. Most of your data, settings, and preferences will remain as you set them on the previous version. If you have any questions, please go to our Frequently asked questions page in the first instance.  To ensure we do not miss any of your feedback or technical issues please log these under the Get in Touch form to ensure feedback is collected in the centralised area.

How to sign up and login

If you’re feeling a bit lost about the sign up and login process, we have a video guide to help you along the way. If you’re still confused after watching the video and reading our Frequently asked questions page, please call us on 1800 500 258 and we will be able to help.

Visibility of public posts and comments

Please be aware that your posts and comments in the public discussions and public groups can be found and read by anyone, including those who are not members of the network. This means that what you share in a public discussion or public group may be read by a wider audience, please consider this when sharing sensitive or personal details.

Community Guidelines

We have updated our Community Guidelines. Please read through the guidelines before starting on the Online Network to ensure that you understand how we can support you and your obligations as a member of the community. The guidelines include information about community safety, privacy, prohibited content, feedback process and the consequences of breaking these guidelines. If you have suggestions or questions about the community guidelines or any aspect of moderation, please call us on 1800 500 258.

Legacy Process

Our updated Legacy Process explains how members of the Online Network can record their wishes for what happens to their account after death—either to have it memorialised or deleted. It outlines the steps for submitting written consent via email and explains the important role of a family member or legal representative in confirming the death and enabling those wishes to be carried out. For any questions, members or family can call us on 1800 500 258.

  • Yesterday was hopeless,  received 3 OTP that the system wouldn't accept

Started afresh today and was able to sign in!

Disappointed that the Private Messages didn't transfer however reading a comment above gives a glimmer of hope!

Haven't navigated any further,  will do so over the weekend once I have finished my project

    Take care everyone

The team is aware the Private Messages haven't moved across and are working on restoring them .... and are also aware that some browsers may not be working well with the changeover.

Are you on a Mac, Terrianne? Have you tried Chrome or Safari? (I am using Chrome & got in fine.)  I used to use Firefox some years ago but had other issues with it so swapped to Chrome.  :(

Some are having difficulties with logging in with their smartphones too ... maybe keep trying over the weekend - and make contact with the Helpline on Monday morning if still not able to log in.

Also, some weird 'helpline' phone numbers are appearing randomly - the correct one is 1800 500 258 ....
    Take care

  • Hi everyone, my inbox has no messages - I had quite a few before the update. Does anyone know if there's a way to get the messages back? Thanks!

  • Teething problem #1 for me (and it's a big one): I use Firefox, and the site will not allow me to log in on that browser.  I put my email address in, and a few moments later, I get a message saying "Error: Invalid reCAPTCHA" (see below).

Even when I disable all my ad blockers, I still get the same reaction. It seems to be something inherent to Firefox, which is a pretty privacy-focused browser.

Have you contacted the helpline terrianne ? (Sadly, the helpline/info is closed now til Monday morning :( )
Are you on a Mac?  Have you ever tried Chrome or Safari?  I use Chrome and Safari & have been able to log in OK - but noticed a few other issues, that are being looked into!  I used to use Firefox but haven't for some years now.
Many are having difficulties logging in with their phones - or are being kicked out before accessing the Online Community, even tho getting on to the BCNA main page, from their phones.
There are a few other issues - the real biggie is that our Personal Messages (PMs) have not transferred across - but they are aware of this & are trying to rectify it.
There's been some weird 'Helpline Phone Numbers' appearing randomly (I've counted 6 so far!)  but the correct one is the 'old one' 1800 500 258 (starting again on Mon am.)
In the meantime, you can contact the Helpline with ANY issues via email on, and they'll get onto it first thing on Monday morning ;)  :
      helpline@bcna.org.au
And if you are finding the replies on categories are starting off with 'old' replies (up to 7 years or older ...) you should be able to go into your preferences & click on MY SETTINGS/PREFERENCES and choose (Default Sort Order) Newest to Oldest  ;)
It will get better ... there are usually 'some' teething problems with any change of platform ...
Take care & have a good weekend xx

        Hi arpie

The system only just now sent me an email to say you'd responded 😃

The helpline did get in touch about my original post, and I gave them some additional information.
