💻Online Network Account Data & Request Consent
Written consent to helpline@bcna.org.au is required to ensure your account change preferences are followed.
BCNA requires consent to make changes to your account via email, and depending on your change preferences, should include the following:
👉 Change your account details - email or username
If you would like your Online Network account personal details to be changed, please include that as an instruction in your email.
👉Delete your account or remove certain content
If you would like any of your Online Network content or information to be deleted, please include that as an instruction in your email.
👉Consent for your family to act on your behalf in memoriam.
It is crucial to note that BCNA cannot act upon any of these requests unless we directly receive consent from you. In the event that someone makes a data-sensitive request to BCNA on your behalf, we ask that you email helpline@bcna.org.au or call 1800 500 258 giving consent to that family member or legal representative to request Online Network account changes. If we receive notification of your death from your delegated representative BCNA will update your Online Network profile to reflect ‘in- memoriam'. Read more about the Legacy Process here.
