📄About BCNA's Online Network 👉START HERE!
Welcome to BCNA’s Online Network. The same network you know and love, but now even better and with a single login for our digital tools.
Online Network has been designed around your needs, based upon your feedback. The platform enhances your user experience, security and accessibility, while connecting you with other people affected by breast cancer. Most of your data, settings, and preferences will remain as you set them on the previous version. If you have any questions, please go to our Frequently asked questions page in the first instance. To ensure we do not miss any of your feedback or technical issues please log these under the Get in Touch form to ensure feedback is collected in the centralised area.
How to sign up and login
If you’re feeling a bit lost after reading our Frequently asked questions page, please call us on 1800 500 258 and we will be able to help.
Visibility of public posts and comments
Please be aware that your posts and comments in the public discussions and public groups can be found and read by anyone, including those who are not members of the network. This means that what you share in a public discussion or public group may be read by a wider audience, please consider this when sharing sensitive or personal details.
Community Guidelines
We have updated our Community Guidelines. Please read through the guidelines before starting on the Online Network to ensure that you understand how we can support you and your obligations as a member of the community. The guidelines include information about community safety, privacy, prohibited content, feedback process and the consequences of breaking these guidelines. If you have suggestions or questions about the community guidelines or any aspect of moderation, please call us on 1800 500 258.
Legacy Process
Our updated Legacy Process explains how members of the Online Network can record their wishes for what happens to their account after death - either to have it memorialised or deleted. It outlines the steps for submitting written consent via email and explains the important role of a family member or legal representative in confirming the death and enabling those wishes to be carried out. For any questions, members or family can call us on 1800 500 258.

- Mez_BCNACommunity Manager
You can update your email address via your profile dashboard on the website. I have taken a few screen shots of what the steps should look like below, however please call the Helpline 1800 500 258 if we can help step you through it.

hello, I've sent an inbox message to two ladies however it's not showing in my mail folder at all - would that mean the messages have not gone through or they did but are no longer in my folder? Thanks!
- arpieMember
Hi May2024
If you click on the Envelope (next to search) - it should show both lady's names on the left hand side of the screen (under the search box.)
If they aren't there, maybe you didn't hit 'Reply' when you finished your message?
Sadly, If you change screens whilst writing a message before 'sending it', the whole message will disappear :(
Some people write their posts and messages in Word or Note & then copy it across, so they don't lose it ....
Good luck - I hope you find them .... and that they reply!
Take care & Happy Easter

Just a test to see if I get the HTMLmessage
- TriMember
Hi I have had the HTML error message too so this reply to you is to test the system. I usually get an error message if I try and include both a text based reply with a link to a webpage. Sometimes I even need to delete the username as in afraser
So this is my fourth try at replying after
I tried to reply with a link (generates an HTML error message)
I deleted it (I still get an HTML error message).
I also removed a Fraser’s username (HTML error message)
I cancelled the original draft and have tried a new reply noting that this time I reinstated afraser’s username.

Thanks for your persistence and user testing Tri and Afraser ! It does really help to get this details so we can get a fix - especially when it is intermittent. Mez_BCNA Tri has also emailed screen shots :-)

This is really helpful, thanks for the information!

Hopefully I will learn to navigate this new set up. My issue is getting the numbers off my email which often is hard to access on my phone as my current one is web based access only.
i have a few different 2 factor identification set ups due to my job 3 different ones just to start working all of them use my phone or app to receive the codes. Its all so challenging these days. Because of all the hacks that have been happening. Most sites will be switching to this type of log in.
sad but true state of affairs.- Mez_BCNACommunity Manager
Thanks for the update cranky_granny - pleased to see you made your way here. Sounds like you are very used to the security requirements in your own job and why the OTP is the way going forward, just wish you could get it a little easier from your phone. Have passed on the feedback
- arpieMember
More & more hacks happening every day cranky_granny - the superannuation one is really scary!
Can you 'highlight' the OTP & just copy & paste it across to BCNA? I do ... as my memory, even from flipping from the email to the web is SHOCKING! LOL
Take care xx- cranky_grannyMember
My granddaughters super got hacked they got $8000-00 out of it Spent hours on the phone sorting it
- SoldierCrabMember
sounding like gremlins are in the system?
- Mez_BCNACommunity Manager
SoldierCrab reach out if you are having any technical issues [email protected]
- SoldierCrabMember
OK Mez_BCNA I will reach out but I am frustrated needing to go back and forth between my bcna tab and email to get a code each time I try to get into BCNA online
- AfraserMember
I'll try again, last post didn't land at all. Having tried too often to answer a post and finding my reply (typed direct to the platform) blocked, I think I'll take a break until the network gets sorted out. I am not able to assist anyone and just getting frustrated. Good luck with it all!

Just an update on the Triple Positive Group issue- invitations to the previously approved members have been sent inviting them to rejoin. If anyone’s in the Triple Positive Group please do check your email in box and request to rejoin! I can see the list of members has a few more on it today :-)

Hi Everyone,
Thankyou for your patience everyone, we are very grateful we have you to notify us the parts of the new forum that you have identified with errors or needing attention (We are trying to reach out to you individually as well).
We are attempting to log all of these technical tickets we see in the comments section. However as we receive feedback via email, phone calls, and our website, it would be really helpful to ensure we do not miss anything to please log these via the Get in Touch form to ensure feedback is collected in the centralised area.
We also want to be transparent that 'we' the Helpline team are also learning the new system as well and also have provided our own internal feedback of improvements and future enhancements.
Thankyou again and its great to see new discussions happening!
Mez and the BCNA Helpline Team
P.S several of the below issues in progress for your information:
- Private Messages/Mail - We are aware your conversations did not migrate across and this was the first thing Helpline team noticed. These will be migrated across in due course (April)
- OTP repeated Codes - We are aware you are receiving duplicate codes and we are presently investigating the issue
- HTML issue - This is also being investigated
- Triple Positive Breast Cancer Group access - We are aware of this issue and we hope previous members will have access very soon! Or re-join in the meantime
- Firefox - We are aware of this issue and we are replicating the error in some instances however the interim solution would be to use a different browser
- Group List showing 0 posts - recently logged, unsure of outcome currently

I've been keeping an eye on the 'Frequently Asked Questions' link (via the link in the above BCNA post .. ) to see if any of the issues mentioned in the replies here, have been added & addressed or even explained - and the answer is a big fat NO. 😠.
Plus .... when I click on the FAQ link - It also asks me to Sign In again! grrr
In the original BCNA post above, BCNA is saying:
If you have any questions, please go to our Frequently asked questions page in the first instance.
But sadly, BCNA is NOT providing the requested information or updates in a timely manner here, or in ONE EASY SPOT.
Scrolling thru all the members' posts here, to find a couple of posts from BCNA re the glitches, is not good enough.
It would not be difficult to have a specific post that is addressing the known glitches (with a link to click on that works, added to this original BNCA post) ...... as EVERYONE is experiencing glitches in one form or another. There needs to be a HIGHLIGHTED LINK in this original post, here - where members can SEE that these answers to KNOWN glitches - are shown!
It is obviously gonna take a while before it settles down. 😟
Apparently Mets & Breast Reconstruction private groups are up & running again (probably more too) ….. but the Groups List is NOT SHOWING THAT, nor have members been advised of correctly active Private Groups yet (with all past posts, showing!)
If you click on the Groups Link … they still show as ‘0 Posts’.
Communicating with members is PARAMOUNT
And a couple more glitches .....
'Notifications' isn't working, even if you are tagged in comment or following a topic.
Writing Private Messages - you can't scroll up to see what you've already written and if it is a longer message - you can't see the previous messages that you've received (to reference back to.) It is probably due to the massive BCNA Disclaimer that takes up the bottom half of the page.
- AfraserMember
Can anyone getting the 'Can't publish -unauthorised HTML'message screen-shot it and pass it on to the adminstrators please?
- cranky_grannyMember
Yes and its driving me nuts all my replies just wont post.
