Recent mastectomy pain
I had a mastectomy in early August 2019 and I have had fluid building up after the tubes were removed. It looks like part of my breast is still there! My surgeon is pleased with the result of her work...
My lymphoedema therapist used to refer to my ‘mutant breast’ - like you, it still looked as if most of it was still there. I had fluid aspirated (several times) and to be honest, was quite surprised at the look of my flattened breast when the (remarkably large amount of) fluid was first removed! All part of the experience😌
