Next step

After what I call a whirl wind past few weeks I am now here back at home, after having a partial mastectomy and sentinel node biopsy. It hit me on the drive home. What is actually happening.

  • Thank you hazel, and you certainly hit the nail on the head " what the hell has happened" yeah poked and prodded. Tests every second day. Surgery, now the wait people have said this can be the worst time, just waiting. I am a reasonably positive person and like to keep this attitude, but just sometimes, it feels so unpositive. I appreciate your response to my post. And thank you for the support. I feel I will need more support along the way. And hope to provide support to others along the way. Juli xx
  • Hope you are recovering ok after surgery. I remember thinking at times, what the hell hasn't happened to my life? From working and leading a nice life, sometimes even a little mundane, to a life of medical appointments, endless tests and basically turning everything upside down. Just want to tell you that you will get through this and life will return, maybe not the same as before but you will one day regain some sort of normality. I am 7 months post chemo, I also had radiation but I am back at work and living my life again. Sending big hugs to you, Take care,
