If I needed a mastectomy, can I get fat there immediately in the same op? My doctor said something about implants before radiation as a no, but does it mean implants or your own tissue would be ok?
Needing chemo and radiation.

I had a mastectomy and immediate reconstruction from my abdomen but I wasn't going to have radiotherapy. I believe they told me that radiotherapy could risk the reconstruction and the effects on your skin could change the shape of the breast. They always prefer radiation before any reconstruction.
