Lumpectomy: exercise, OT etc.. before surgery ?
I have completed neoadjuvant chemotherapy (July-Dec 2019) and I'm scheduled for a lumpectomy next week and most likely full axilla clearance. There was no advice from my doctor regarding seeing an occ...
I had major surgery, non BC, last year. As part of my preparation I had a lymphatic drainage massage. As the Anaesthetist prepped me I mentioned it and he was surprised. It paid off as the drain tube was in for 12 hours only.
