Louise that is such a great idea! I only had a lumpectomy myself so I don't need it but if I were going to have a mastectomy and reconstrution that would be exactly the sort of site I would want to go to. I've read so many queries on here from peopole soon to undergo those procedures so I'm it will be invaluable to many woman. Good on you for taking the initiative.

Hello Louise, I am due to have a bilateral mastectomy on 30/08/13 & intend to have breast reconstruction after my treatment is finished & I feel strong enough. I would very much like to join this group as I am sure that I can benefit from women' experiences & I would be willing to share my experiences too. Regards Adriane

Hi Louise, I had a mastectomy with immediate DIEP reconstuction back in 2016. Could not have been happier with the result. Now have BC in the other breast and booked in for mastectomy with SGAP reconstruction in 2 weeks. Anyone here had this type of reconstruction? Did you go back for lypo to even up you back profile? How did you go in recovery? I have to have 2 plastic surgeons so it isn't cheap. Just looking for a similar result to my first experience.
