Welcome to BCNA and I am glad that you wanted to share the situation you have found yourself in with us.
Personally I feel that if you go to the genetisist and find you have the gene then that will definitely make that decision for you sweety.
If you don't have the gene that will be wonderful news for you and your family. You will then have to decide whether you are happy to live with the fear of BC becoming a possibility. You will have to ask yourself if you can live with that fear.
It is a tough place you have found yourself in you poor luv and when so young.
I am unable to comment on mastectomy and reconstruction but just wanted to wish you well and let you know I am thinking of you.
