Yep - I had some sort of marker clips put in with my surgery early in 2018 @Ness2019 .... they show up a bit like 'tiny staples' on an ultrasound/mammogram.
It just accurately shows the area of the existing 'area of interest' ..... and will show for every other scan as well.
As @kmakm says - pretty well standard procedure I think.
