Update on Chemo 4

I hope you do bounce back in the next few days and yes just keep thinking about this nasty drug doing its worst to the cancer cells. Unfortunately I found that the Docetaxel (dubbed Doceshit by my husband) knocked me flat for just about the whole time until the next round. I was supposed to have four rounds after the first four on AC but my Onc called it quits after three rounds of this one because of the severe side effects I was having especially the neuropathy in my fingers and toes. She didn't think it was wise risking another round and that the benefits were out weighed by the negatives. I am really relieved that I didn't have to have any more but I also felt quite uneasy that I somehow hadn't completed the course and that this might have an effect on the outcome of my treatment if that makes any sense. Oh well onwards and upwards. Lets hope that a bright light is shining at the end of the tunnel very very soon for all of us. Day by day! Love Janey xxx
