Hey @arpie, I hope your thumbs behaved themselves for your Uke festival. I have started having acupuncture for my thumb. This week they gave me a couple of patches containing capsaicin to try. Tried one out last night, cutting it up and wrapping it around the painful parts. I could only stand it for 2 hours and they had to come off, but my thumb is bending without pain today.
I can still feel the heat doing it’s thing even though I took the patch pieces off over 12 hours ago. I found the patch much less hazardous to use because it did not get all over my hands like when you apply the cream. Will be interesting to see how long the effects last. Hopefully between stopping Letrozole and changing back to Tamoxifen, the acupuncture, and the patches, I will get my thumb working properly again soon. I think the patches are available from Asian grocers. I found some online and they are not very expensive. They are called Astrobon Astrapharm Chille patches.
