OK .... So i've given the plastic bag away and now use some folded up tissue to put the cream on!!

I put it all over the back of my hand, then all around the base of my thumb and back up between my thumb & forefinger.  So far, I haven't stung myself again! 

this morning, tho still painful, I can form a fist with my left hand!!  So happy with that!!   I will keep going - just at night at this point in time .... it gets a bit greasy for my day time use .... and see how I go.
