Thinning hair on tamoxifen
Had any one had any thinning hair side effects on tamoxifen? many thanks in advance

I am on femara and my hair is thinning lots. I know menopause causes hair to thin as well, but I like to blame femara. Does anyone have a solution to this hair thinning? I tried Nioxin a few years ago, but can't say that it made much of a difference.

- Thanks Tonya I was on Femara then came out of menapause and put onto tamoxifen both drugs have seem to have caused my hair to thin out incredibly.
- After being on Tamoxifen for 4years, my hair started thinning big time.I was pulling out handfuls of hair from my brush twice a week. It is a common side effect apparently.Tamoxifen can also cause fatty liver which I now have- didn't know about that side effect either. Tonya xx
