Hot flush ideas.
Chillo pillows work for some.
Rice in a plastic bag in the freezer, put inside your pillowcase, not as sudden a cold as an ice pack and very reusable.
Google Ice vests. There is a company that make a lot of cooling products including bandannas, head wraps and vests for long distance runners etc, might have something there to help.
My hot flushes only involve my upper body and mostly my face and head, make me feel sick and anxious before passing.
I was on Premia HRT before diagnosis, 3 years of feeling wonderful before going cold turkey off them, like you, not the 5 years they say were the danger periods. A couple of weeks off the HRT and the menopause fog descended along with the hot flushes.
I feel ripped off and thoroughly pissed by it all too, so you are not alone in feeling like complaining.
