TC Chemotherapy
Had Round 3 of TC chemo on Monday morning. Bone aches arrived like clockwork on Thursday night, but now on Friday, I seem to have lower back pain and hip pain for the first time as well. Is this normal? I have been walking 1.5 - 2 kms each day this week.
I am finding the variety, and variance, of side effects, to be weird. For example, Round 1, a little nausea, Round 2, a lot, Round 3, none so far.

Had my first TC round yesterday. Still feeling quite normal ! I know I wont get off scott free but I feel so well prepared and finally not scared. Yay ! Thanks again to this forum and some great medicos.
When does the metal mouth start , if you get it ?

- I'm back at the hospital where I had chemo. One of the kids is having an operation to remove some rogue teeth. It's making me feel a bit anxious but not too bad. I'm doing better than I expected. Do want to get out of here though. I've truly had enough of hospitals in the last nine months...
- @jewel-ee It sure is a slow process.
- that's just like my fingernails - except since its 10 weeks since the last chemo the lines are at the bottom of my nail...
- @Sister Yes! I thought it was interesting as well. No one told me that it could happen so it was surprising.
- How interesting - a bit like rings on a tree.
- Fingernail status five months since last chemo infusion. This is the thumb nail; they're all like this. One ridge for each cycle, the first cycle (8th January) has hit the top now and they're all breaking so I'm back to keeping them really short. But happily the nails coming through behind look fine. Three or four more months and the damage should be gone!
