TC Chemotherapy
Had Round 3 of TC chemo on Monday morning. Bone aches arrived like clockwork on Thursday night, but now on Friday, I seem to have lower back pain and hip pain for the first time as well. Is this normal? I have been walking 1.5 - 2 kms each day this week.
I am finding the variety, and variance, of side effects, to be weird. For example, Round 1, a little nausea, Round 2, a lot, Round 3, none so far.

- Shit! I just lost a toenail. :# Three and a half months after my last infusion and one of my manky chemo nails has given up. I've never lost a nail before; what do I do? Anything? Garrgh! :/
- @jewel-ee I started to feel OK-ish three weeks after the end of the last cycle and by six weeks I felt not too bad at all. K xox

- @jewel-ee. Congrats - u must be so glad it’s over. I had my last TC last Monday and still feel like crap - I’m really not happy w d pretty much over it.

- Well i'm officially done - no more chemo!!!
Because of my very good Ki67 results my oncologist left the decision to complete the last cycle up to me.
I decided my body wasn't going to cope well with the last cycle - a wt loss of 10kgs down to a bmi of 21 has left me weak and exhausted. I'm just hoping that the side effects will resolve as quickly as possible (esp fatigue - 2 weeks in bed this last cycle). Keen to hear from others about how long it takes with the side effects. I hope to be back at work in 3 weeks.
cheers @Zoffiel the clarantyne worked for me - no bone pain and I believe may have assisted with general aches and pains (took much less panadol this round). thanks for the info.
