TC Chemotherapy
Had Round 3 of TC chemo on Monday morning. Bone aches arrived like clockwork on Thursday night, but now on Friday, I seem to have lower back pain and hip pain for the first time as well. Is this normal? I have been walking 1.5 - 2 kms each day this week.
I am finding the variety, and variance, of side effects, to be weird. For example, Round 1, a little nausea, Round 2, a lot, Round 3, none so far.

- @Sister Yes, that's what they look like. Dark bit at the bottom and white at the top where the nail is lifting. Nine out of ten fingernails did this too (different pattern for the brown part though) but I kept them very short and after being loose for weeks they firmed up.
- @Sister that looks sore! @Finch I have always been a fan on brazilians so one happy side effect for me :p
- My big toenails have been sore with the slightest pressure for weeks and have also had a red patch on them. I noticed this morning that they've gone whitish and I think they may be lifting. Is this what yours looked like @kmakm ? Sorry- photos are crap but I can't quite manage the right angle.

Give it time... the mountain will be verdant once more! - I haven't any hair growing back at all on my mont of Venus, none, bald as ! I don't like brazillians (generational thing) and look forward to the regrowth.
Laser is the best to tidy up the area @kmakm . I spent rather a lot on tidying up stray hairs in the early naughties when I spent a lot of my time in bikinis, had my armpits done also. - @"Kiwi Angel" Thanks Steph.
- @kmakm u want to keep that flat belly looking fuzz free!! There are so many laser places in the Westfield mall up the road from us and they all appear to look quite cheap - I don’t know how reputable they are though. Also have a look on sites like groupon as u can quite often get some good deals on there.
- @primek Yes, the one that fell off last night has about a quarter of a new one underneath.
- @"Kiwi Angel" That's what I was thinking. It's expensive, but permanent. I might start saving up for it. I took care of tidying the garden in my late twenties with electrolysis. Rather annoying that I have to do it again! Still, small price to pay in the greater scheme of things. I really can't have it climbing up my newly flat belly! Standards!!!
