TC Chemotherapy

The other big toenail has said farewell, making three that have decided to run away to see the world. And my final fingernail has lifted. Happily the brown damage underneath has grown out. For weeks it's looked like I have dirty fingernails but yesterday it was finally high enough for me to scrape out. The horizontal ridges are growing out too. So in another three months my fingernails should be back to normal! As my oncologist said about TC yesterday, "It's nasty stuff".

@Blondy @"Kiwi Angel" Thank you ladies. It was nicely painted with a cheery bright sparkly pink too. Here's hoping there's something halfway decent there by sandal season...

Kmak that's awful. Hopefully a really nice nail will grow in its place.. Not that I'd want to lose them but both my big toe nails look dried out and cruddy. Chemo keeps on keeping on. Let's hope they've killed off all they were supposed to have. 

Gargh! Just lost my right foot big toenail. Taking off my sock it just suddenly came away. Didn't hurt but the skin underneath is very tender indeed. It's going to need a bandage. Bloody chemo!

As my hubby is an Anglo Indian I have to call mine Bollywood. 

@Finch I’m very surprised the my finger and toe nails seem to have made it through ok.

@Sister my big toe has a dark brown line through it. It's my fingernails which are sore and I'm keeping them as short as possible to stop them hurting. All of them are a horrible yellow colour. 
@"Kiwi Angel" ive learnt something today .  I got my names all wrong - it's a Hollywood I don't like and that's what I have right now, completely bald and bare .  

Fingers crossed then (toes are too sore)
