@kmakm. Your body is really putting u through the ringer at the moment isn’t it. U would think all those chemo related side effects would be slowing down/ending now. How is your infection healing?  Huge hugs xoxoxoxo 

I can't believe it. Today another fingernail started lifting, nine weeks after chemotherapy finished. When will it stop??

@kmakm the oncotype test was a very helpful tool for you (along with your other considerations) thank you for your explanation

@jewel-ee Yes, that's how my breast surgeon described ki67 as well. Mine was 18, above 20 is considered high. My BS said this put me in a grey area. The oncotype test, which is expressed in in a number however clearly indicated that chemo would be curative. My oncologist said it was well above the cut off point.

thanks @kmakm - i remember that you shared that you had a very complex family history to consider as part of your decision making on what treatment path to take. 
My onc described the ki67 as the poor mans oncotype (apparently the oncotype testing uses ki67 as just one of their many testing procedures) and I was curious whether there was a correlation between the 2 tests for you. 
Bearing in mind that the oncotype test is much more comprehensive  so there may be no way to directly compare the two.

@Zoffiel I have begun the claratyne trial - fingers crossed it's as effective for me.
I may go to ground soon - depending when the fatigue hits but its usually mon-fri that i am confined to my bed lol but i will report back in

@jewel-ee Yes, I did the oncotype test to see if chemo woukd have a curative effect if some cells had escaped and were looking for another place to roost. There were a number of reasons why I went down this road.
