Fletch, If your chemo company gave you a 'showbag' of goodies, you may have got a mouthwash. If not you can make one with bi carb. I rinsed my mouth very very often to help keep at bay mouth ulcers. I did get one, but did all I could to prevent anymore happening. Helps to keep thrush away. Drink lots of water. Didn't get a metal mouth either. Let's hope you don't. There's a myriad of side effects but with luck you'll only get a few but at least you'll know what to expect. I found it wasn't as bad as I was envisaging. The mind is a powerful thing so make it work for you by being as positive as you can to ride the storm. There's always people here to help get you through it.
