thank you @Zoffiel @Kiwi Angel and @kmakm - just what i was looking for - a range of views that I can't necessarily consider from within my limited scope atm.
the 5% is really good but with no guarantees and that's where I figure I'm halfway through....
I'm committed to this friday and my onc has suggested this cycle continuing the dex (at the daily minimum poss) until side effects ease. And also using valium as needed - which helped but I am very cautious of overdoing valium. He is also adding an older anti nausea med prior to the infusion to see if that helps.
I also switched from stemetil to maxalon halfway through this cycle but he told me that the maxalon can exacerbate diarrhoea if it is already a side effect. so I will now ditch the maxalon! It is a juggling act.
And I can also re consider cycle no 4 when the time comes.
