TC Chemotherapy
Had Round 3 of TC chemo on Monday morning. Bone aches arrived like clockwork on Thursday night, but now on Friday, I seem to have lower back pain and hip pain for the first time as well. Is this norma...
Well, that is welcome news delivered a bit too late. If you had those figures a few months ago it may have been a different story as far as committing to chemo. For me, dealing with the long term effects of TC has been a struggle, but my circumstances as a two time cancer loser are a little different from most peoples. TC only gave me a 7% better chance of survival this time which sounds meagre, unless you are one of the seven who gets some benefit and lives.
You are half way, if you can't stand it, stop. But you are half way and I don't know that stopping now is going to make much difference to the amount of damage the drugs do. Maybe yes, maybe no. You are the only one who can make the decision. Uncomfortable as it may be. Good luck. marg xx
