Taxol or carbo and hot flushes?
Hi ladies did anyone have any hot flushes with the taxol or carbo? also I went for a beach walk after my chemo yesterday and I have some blotchy spots on my legs. I'm guessing from the sun as it...

I got a skin rash on Taxol but it was on my hand, ,quite nasty and itchy but went away when I finished. Your skin is really sensitive after Chemo, and you definitely have to be careful in the sun as you burn very easily.
I had hot flushes whilst on FEC and then Taxol, but honestly it was due to being thrown into menopause, not the meds. I told my Oncologist at the time and after treatment said he'd prescribe Effexor, I tried it twice and couldnt tolerate it made me so ill. So I didnt worry, hot flushes have settled right down 10 months post chemo.
