It may not help but Vitamin B was suggested to me and I found it did help a bit - a bit was still better than nothing. When my feet were more recovered, I found hot wax pedicures wonderful - made my feet feel human again and the benefit lasted for days. Still do it periodically. Little by little you can train yourself to trust your eyes rather than your damaged nerve endings. You feel you are walking on two mattresses but you know you are walking on the pavement, you learn to trust your knowledge more. I've found that you can get sudden jumps in improvement out of the blue and for no particular reason. I suddenly got the feeling in my toe tips back a year ago - still working on the middle bits : )
