Tamoxifen vs Generic Brands

Yep! On the positive side, titanium oxide seems remarkably innocent of any negative effects! 

I'd rather not know.  Isn't titanium oxide used in paint and sunscreen?  Guess that's why they're white huh?

Each Genox tablet contains the active ingredient tamoxifen citrate equivalent to 10 mg or 20 mg of tamoxifen. The tablets also contain the following inactive ingredients: mannitol, starch – maize, croscarmellose sodium and magnesium stearate.

Femara has a lot the same but also includes silica, maize starch, iron oxide yellow and purified talc! 

Well found! So povidone may cause a rash, in rare cases. Hypromellose might cause blurry vision. And they probably won't do either in very small doses. It's not so much the fillers in themselves, but changing from one to another may mean that you find one slightly better or slightly worse.

I don't think most chemists (in pharmacies) do know. The active ingredients are the same, they have to be but the fillers and binders may differ and it's not just a simple matter of what's better. One that would be fine for me may be less so for someone who is lactose intolerant if there are any lactose traces. There is also the relatively small problem of what might interact in a different way with other medication. I don't imagine these differences are likely to be dangerous but they might possibly build up, with something you take daily over a long time. Non-specific, lingering, not-quite-rightness! 

Started on Genox, they ran out, switched to Tamox sandoz,  no good at all,  now on Novladex which seems the least disgusting so far.  Pharmacist promised nothing differenet in them (highly likely they have no idea) as I queried regarding fillers etc.

Oh yes thats what she said its the salts and fillers that are different.
