Tamoxifen and sex drive ?
Hi I have been on Tamoxifen for 23 nights and weirdly my sex drive has gone from zero to right up there! This is the exact opposite to what I had expected . Has anyone else had this occur and if so please tell me it lasts for decades as I am only 47 and now seems my fancy old pill Zoely caused atrophy and since not being allowed on the pill that has settled down along with the use of Sylk internally and externally.
The only info I can find are some very happy women in the UK with the same reaction but then doubting if the medication is working. I have had hot sweats and waking and metallic taste in mouth but I changed the time to 5ish and that seems to have helped plus I am taking Collagen food which is high in MSM .

Thanks so much Mira and I am trying to keep my partner but you know how bloody selfish men are it's all been a bit to much for him so I might end up not using it either lol

I was the same. I had no sex drive then was put on Tamoxifen and suddenly ... well hello there :D. I've only been on it for a year so I cant answer the question about how long it lasts, I've been distracted by other things and haven't noticed (plus I don't have a partner lol)
Now lets hope my husband gets his shit together or I will have know one to use it on x
Lets hope it doesn't stop x
Its a shocking thing to have to deal with on top of everything else x

I was on Tamoxifen for 2 years, then had ovaries removed and now on Femara for about 10 months. My sex drive was good before hand and has never changed with any of the drugs or menopause effects. I do suffer from vaginal dryness since starting Femara but have found relief with organic coconut oil. I was 47 at the beginning of all this too. So hope you keep enjoying this side of life too. :)
