Tamoxifem

Hi sorry I've only just read this post. I couldn't take Femara or Tamoxifen, they went straight to my knees and I couldn't walk. In fact I'm just getting over two knee replacements, in some part I blame those hormone inhibiting drugs. Although I have rheumatoid arthritis my knees were never the same after those drugs. I would live to hear about a Bayside support group. I did consider starting one myself at one point. I nursed my mum with lung cancer for a year before she died and it was during that time that i had to deal with my cancer too, the wonderful chemo nurses at Cabrini persuaded me that the time was not right in the year after losing my mum. I would be more than happy to help in any way if you have managed to get something off the ground. Regards jacqui
