stopped Taxol after my 3rd dose due to severe neuropathy. I remember
sobbing on the phone to my Oncologist begging him to put me on something else
mainly because of fear of irreversible damage to my nerves and my pains where
quite severe after the 3rd dose. A friend of mine who finished her taxol
ended up with severe neuropathy pain and issues and she is 2 years post bc and
still have pain. So having known about her pain and suffering I was very
very cautious and didn't want to end up with irreversible damage to my
nerves. My oncologist was happy to put me back on FEC.
